Piping Engineer (AutoCAD Plant 3D)

Role &
Responsibilities
  • Work with AutoCAD Plant 3D customization and administration.
  • Create detailed P&IDs and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Work with Plant 3D Data manager and report creation.
  • Develop 3D catalogues and work with spec editor.
  • Experience with piping isometrics in Plant 3D.
  • Work with BIM 360 collaboration tool to follow the life cycle of P&IDs.
  • Experience/explore with Autodesk Vault or any other PLM tool.
  • Work with the Autodesk Inventor and Plant 3D collaboration activities.
  • Work with SharePoint platform for document management.
  • Co-ordination with other team members to understand assigned work and plan for delivery
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the energy sector.
  • Strong experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, specifically in the context of oil and gas projects.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, 3D modeling, and isometrics using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and industry regulations.
  • Experience working with Revit MEP is an advantage.
