Associate, Structural Engineering
Maziar has extensive structural engineering experience across Australia and Southeast Asia. He has contributed to complex projects including the design of high-rise buildings, both RC and structural steel, detailing and fabrication packages of various structural steel projects, nonlinear deep foundation systems, and watertight underground retaining structures for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
With a strong foundation in design, Maziar is skilled in advanced analytical methodologies, including seismic assessments, dynamic spectral analysis (RSA), and lateral stability evaluation of high-rise structures over 45 stories. His expertise in lateral resisting systems further enhances his contributions to high-rise structural analysis.
In his role, Maziar emphasises quality control and design optimisation through value engineering principles, ensuring efficient constructability. He also plays a key role in mentoring junior engineers, guiding them on the effective use of analytical software such as ETABS and SAFE, while overseeing peer reviews and design verifications to maintain rigorous standards across projects.
