A dedicated team of three to five civil engineers was seconded to support the design and 3D modelling of a wide range of civil works, including retaining walls, working platforms, hardstands, drainage pits and pipework, access roads and footpaths. Using 12d Model and Autodesk Civil 3D, the team developed coordinated design models that supported both design development and construction delivery.

Our scope included earthworks modelling to calculate cut and fill volumes, traffic staging models for temporary traffic diversions, and construction sequence modelling to support planning and coordination of construction activities. We also produced 3D animations to communicate temporary traffic staging.

Working closely with the client’s site engineers, surveyors and designers, our team collaborated daily to develop compliant, buildable solutions that supported the safe and efficient construction of permanent infrastructure.
