Express Rail Link Terminus Superstructure

Hong Kong

This project involved a new express rail link terminus featuring a landmark entrance hall with a 200-metre-long by 75-metre-wide roof of complex geometry, supported by distinctive clad mega columns. The 100,000 m² front-of-house area accommodates 70 retail concessions within a central concourse atrium.

Supporting the client’s design of the superstructure, roof and façade systems, we provided structural modelling and documentation services. Using MicroStation, we delivered a full set of reinforced concrete construction drawings. BIM services included developing 3D models in Revit and Tekla to resolve clashes and reinforcement congestion within the complex structural forms. We also assisted with reinforcement calculations for columns, beams and slabs using the client’s Robot analysis model, helping ensure buildable, high-quality outcomes within budget and tolerance constraints.

Railway Infrastructure Expansion As-Builts

Australia

Bringing a multidisciplinary team of twenty to thirty people, we delivered over 7,000 as-constructed drawings and more than 100 associated models for architectural, civil, structural and MEP disciplines to meet the as-built requirements.

Our civil team alone contributed to the completion of more than 2,000 as-constructed drawings and 75 LOD 300 models incorporating roadways, footpaths, car park, utilities, retaining walls, fencing and barriers. As-constructed drawings were validated against models using as-built surveys, and updated asset tags for the constructed civil elements.

The work was performed using 12D, OpenRoads, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD and Civil3D software, and throughout the project we developed custom BIM tools to support efficient production of more than 1,000 drawings per month, meeting all rigid documentation protocols. At completion we supplied a final asset information model (AIM) with all relevant model data.

The project comprises new stations, structures including road-over-rail bridges, sections of elevated viaduct, bridge and rail tunnel portal.

Subway Station Modelling & Clash Detection

Philippines

Appointed by the lead design consultant, our digital team provided BIM modelling and management services for two new metro stations. The scope included clash detection and reporting, chairing coordination meetings, and the delivery of a multidisciplinary federated model.

At project commencement, a detailed clash matrix was developed in collaboration with the client to clearly define tolerances and eliminate false positives. Revizto was then used to undertake clash detection and generate structured clash reports, with our team also leading the ongoing coordination meetings.

In parallel, our engineering and as-built teams—appointed under separate scopes—delivered full station models based on 2D documentation.

Metro Stations & Depot Facilities

Australia

The client required a full architectural delivery partner, providing end-to-end support from schematic design (LOD 100) through to IFC stage (LOD 350). Our scope included architectural modelling and documentation for a maintenance depot and associated support buildings, new and refurbished stations, as well as system-wide design elements.

Team members were seconded to work full-time within the client’s project office, operating as an embedded extension of the project team and supported by a dedicated delivery team based in our operations centre.

Our on-site expat team supported the project through the design phase and into the post-contract shop drawing stage, coordinating building services and site equipment fixings with internal panels and façade systems. Delivery was governed by strict documentation protocols, with all instructions and RFIs managed in accordance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan.

Metro Infrastructure

Australia

The client needed to rapidly scale their resources to deliver the comprehensive landscape and architectural deliverables for significant metro infrastructure from reference design through to IFC. The landscape scope involved updating the drawing packages for the full rail corridor, several stations, and associated facilities.

We updated the model to align with civil level information, updated planting types, reorganised trees and bushes, adjusted paving types and furniture placements, collaborated with utility providers, and coordinated civil levels and the architectural team to ensure seamless consistency between interior and exterior elements. Compliance was ensured with local standards for tactile elements, including verification of paving dimensions, road, cycle paths, parking bays, and car parks.

Our integrated support ensured the successful delivery of key project milestones while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.

Rail Infrastructure—Structures

Australia

The client needed a delivery partner with in-depth knowledge of detailing and documentation of concrete structures to help meet the challenging requirements of the project comprising bridges, viaducts, and other related rail infrastructure.

We were tasked with structural Revit LOD 300 modelling, production of detailed design and IFC stage drawings, and services coordination and clash detection.

Given the complexity of the 3D modelling scope, we developed efficient execution methods by introducing customised add-ins and automation tools. This significantly accelerated the modelling and large-scale updates—their effectiveness evident when frequent design changes and rework were required, enabling the team to meet tight deadlines despite the project’s scale.
