Collaborating with many leading international design firms, our sports and leisure experience spans a diverse range of facilities—from state-of-the-art Olympic venues and iconic football stadiums to aquatic, tennis and equestrian centres, as well as regional sports training and teaching facilities. Our portfolio also includes cinemas, amusement parks, mixed-use leisure developments, casino and gaming precincts, and major convention and exhibition centres.
Preliminary, detailed design and construction stage civil documentation, incorporating earthworks and ESC roadworks, intersection stormwater, and concrete drains trunk water and sewer.
Civil Engineering
A fully coordinated architectural Revit BIM model, construction-stage drawing packages, and BIM support were delivered for a specialist sports training centre, including indoor training pitch, supporting facilities for players and staff, as well as residential accommodation to support on-site training programmes.
Architecture
Structural Revit modelling and documentation services were delivered to support the transformation of a major sports stadium including the addition of a new 45,000 m² roof structure. The scope focused on developing coordinated digital models and construction documentation for the halo structure, ensuring accuracy and buildability across this large-span intervention. The resulting models and drawings supported the efficient coordination and construction delivery for the stadium upgrade.
Structural Engineering
A full tender-stage structural documentation package was produced for three buildings within an equestrian centre development, including coordinated 3D modelling and general arrangement drawings in Revit, alongside reinforced concrete intent drawings in AutoCAD. Integrated structural design services ensured the architectural vision was supported by a robust, buildable engineering solution.
The distinctive viewing pavilion features a curved plan and a highly complex structural arrangement incorporating steel roof beams with cantilevers exceeding 10 metres, steel trusses, and deep plated beams supporting a composite first-floor slab, with the remainder of the structure formed in reinforced concrete. Columns and core walls are supported on a raft foundation at basement level.
Structural Engineering
BIM model management services were delivered through the construction documentation stage for selected elements of a large-scale convention and exhibition centre development. Working from the client’s original Revit Structures model, on-demand updates were managed using 2D inputs to reflect ongoing site changes, ensuring the model remained accurate and coordinated throughout delivery.
Responsive model revisions were completed within compressed timeframes, enabling the client to meet critical deadlines and hand over a fit-for-purpose digital asset. The development comprises approximately 50,000 m² of rentable exhibition space across five halls, a 750-room hotel, and a three-storey retail precinct featuring cinemas, dining, and leisure facilities.
BIM Model Management
Structural Engineering
Retrospective BIM models were developed as part of the redevelopment of a major convention centre, using scan-to-BIM workflows to capture existing conditions with accuracy. Laser scan and point cloud data were used to create an LOD 300 BIM model of the primary and secondary structural elements, while a detailed LOD 400 Tekla model was produced for the steelwork. Our work provided a reliable digital foundation to support redevelopment planning and design.

Architectural documentation support was provided during the construction documentation stage for a large integrated entertainment complex comprising a casino, a 120-key hotel, a multi-purpose function centre, wellness and fitness facilities, and a range of food and beverage venues. Working within a Revit A360 environment, the team supported ongoing design updates and coordinated architectural documentation with structural and other consultant packages.
The scope included the production of ID reference series drawings, room data sheets, construction details, and schedules. In total, approximately 400 construction drawings were delivered, alongside model auditing, status reporting, and additional support for scheduling and manufacturer information and modelling.
Architecture
Architectural Revit modelling and documentation were delivered for back-of-house and front-of-house areas of an 80,000-seat football stadium. The scope included clash detection and construction documentation, with all models and drawings developed to align with the client’s Revit libraries and graphic standards. High-quality, coordinated deliverables supported consistency, accuracy, and constructability across this large-scale, complex venue.
Architecture
We provided architectural support for a mega mixed-use development, producing Revit models for twenty residential apartment buildings, plus sporting and community facilities. Our work enabled coordinated design and streamlined documentation across the diverse elements of the project.
Architecture
We responded to the project’s start–stop delivery programme by providing a flexible resourcing model that allowed the client to scale support as required. This approach enabled the efficient delivery of multiple structural drawing packages.
The initial package focused on reinforced concrete detailing for pile caps, delivered in AutoCAD and comprising 74 RC drawings. A further four packages followed, delivering approximately 450 general arrangement and reinforced concrete intent drawings produced using a combination of AutoCAD and Revit within a shared server environment. Stadium capacity 62,850, multi-purpose pitch.
Structural Engineering
Collaborating with the steelwork fabricator we provided structural engineering services for a major tennis centre upgrade project. Our scope included connection design and 3D modelling of one new spectator stand, comprising 879 tonnes of structural steelwork, as well as 3D modelling of two spectator stands. We also delivered the 3D modelling for a 1,700-tonne fixed roof structure spanning 77 metres, formed from 10 primary roof trusses manufactured to exceptionally high tolerances.
Structural Engineering
We were commissioned by the steelwork fabricator to deliver detailed 3D steelwork modelling and detailing for an indoor aquatic centre. The facility includes two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool, with seating for up to 17,500 spectators. Our scope included connection design for the 17,500-seat spectator terrace and the centre’s distinctive long-span roof, supported by a 90-metre roof truss. We also designed the roof truss lifting beam and associated brackets.
Using the coordinated 3D model, we produced steelwork arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings and NC data for automated cutting and drilling, alongside comprehensive clash detection to support efficient construction.
The project was delivered by a flexible team of dedicated, highly experienced structural engineers, providing the specialist capability required for a complex, high-profile venue.
