Our methodical, quality and process driven approach to civil projects helps clients reduce risk, and increase productivity.
Driven by a passion for engineering, our team is recognised for delivering creative, economical solutions that add real value to civil projects.
We work closely with landscape architects, geotechnical and environmental engineers, environmental scientists, traffic engineers, and surveyors to meet the needs of owners, architects, contractors, and institutional agencies.
Areas of specialisation include roads and highways, bridges and viaducts, site grading for site works, stormwater design and modelling, and airport pavements.
The main contractor awarded the design and build contract for a dual two-lane sea viaduct, with 7 approach viaducts, needed to validate the accuracy and buildability of the developing design while managing significant interface risks with the existing transport infrastructure.
Achieving this required a coordinated BIM model capable of detecting clashes, supporting construction sequencing, and informing safety assessments. The client also needed clear, ongoing coordination across disciplines and a robust approach to maintaining and updating project information.
We provided comprehensive BIM and documentation from LOD 200 to LOD 400 in critical areas supported by integrated civil and structural engineering expertise.
From existing design information, we produced a fully integrated BIM model with particular focus on the viaduct’s critical interfaces with live transport infrastructure. We confirmed the accuracy of the design work, detected clashes and confirmed that the design was buildable. Throughout the project, the model was rigorously maintained and updated. In addition, we supported the design and planning of temporary works and contributed to improvements in the buildability of the permanent works.
One of our team members worked from the client’s project office, enabling close day-to-day coordination with the wider project team, additionally helping support the development of construction programmes, detailed modelling of construction sequencing, and the assessment of health and safety considerations.
At project completion, the Project Director could demonstrate to their Board that collaborating with Atlas contributed to a direct project saving of close to HK$20million.

A two-stage expansion of an existing brownfield data centre required comprehensive test-fit documentation. With multiple disciplines involved and tight timelines, the client needed a multidisciplinary partner who could integrate seamlessly with their North America-based design team while maintaining project momentum.
We provided full architectural, structural, MEP, and civil documentation services, working in close coordination with the client’s team. By leveraging the time-zone difference, we ensured near-24/7 progress on the documentation, delivering the test-fit package efficiently, below budget, and on schedule, giving the client a clear and reliable basis to plan the next stage of their development.

Using Revit, Tekla, 12D, and OpenRoad software, our multidisciplinary team produced the as-constructed BIM models and drawings for major rail infrastructure comprising stations, bridges, viaducts, and tunnel portal structures.
The final drawings and associated models incorporated the end-clients standards for architectural, landscape, structural, civil, and building services elements. Throughout, we developed BIM tools to support the efficient delivery of the models and drawings and incorporated relevant data for the final asset information model.

One of Asia’s largest urban, industrial and infrastructure consulting firms engaged us to provide civil engineering modelling support on a large greenfield development. The project involves the first of five estates to be developed in a future-ready innovation district to be built over twenty years.
Using our flexible resourcing, we delivered a Revit LOD 200 3D solid road and services model for coordination, incorporating roads, footpaths, drains and culverts, sewers, development plots, and terrain and parkland elements.
Civil Engineering
We were commissioned to deliver a significant package of multidiscipline as-built models and drawings for two rail infrastructure expansion projects, including stations, road-over-rail bridges, substations, passenger amenities, and bus interchanges.
Multidiscipline As-Builts
Bringing a multidisciplinary team of twenty to thirty people, we delivered over 7,000 as-constructed drawings and more than 100 associated models for architectural, civil, structural and MEP disciplines to meet the as-built requirements.
Our civil team alone contributed to the completion of more than 2,000 as-constructed drawings and 75 LOD 300 models incorporating roadways, footpaths, car park, utilities, retaining walls, fencing and barriers. As-constructed drawings were validated against models using as-built surveys, and updated asset tags for the constructed civil elements.
The work was performed using 12D, OpenRoads, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD and Civil3D software, and throughout the project we developed custom BIM tools to support efficient production of more than 1,000 drawings per month, meeting all rigid documentation protocols. At completion we supplied a final asset information model (AIM) with all relevant model data.
The project comprises new stations, structures including road-over-rail bridges, sections of elevated viaduct, bridge and rail tunnel portal.

As-constructed updates were delivered across civil and structural disciplines using Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, 12D and other project-specific software. The scope included updating BIM models and drawings to reflect built works, incorporating selected architectural and MEP elements.
The project involved major road and bridge upgrades with associated infrastructure. Our accurate and efficiently delivered as-built documentation enabled the client to meet contractual requirements and access bond and retention funds promptly.

Led by our civil team, this project brought together civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines to deliver comprehensive as-built documentation for upgrade works to a wastewater treatment facility.
Working in Revit across all disciplines, with Plant 3D used for MEP services, the team developed accurate as-built drawings and models from hundreds of issued-for-construction 2D drawings, 3D models, redline mark-ups and survey data. Delivered over an approximately 15-month period, the coordinated digital outputs provided a reliable foundation to support planning, coordination and delivery of the facility upgrades.

Atlas delivered advanced civil modelling services to retrofit legacy MX road models into a fully dynamic Civil 3D corridor environment compatible with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016. Using supplied geometric data—without redesign—our team developed coordinated corridor models incorporating templates, custom subassemblies, design profiles, and cross sections with associated sample line views.
The scope included the accurate application of pavement edge detailing and pavement depth configurations to reflect the final design intent. From these coordinated models, we generated intelligent solid object representations of the completed road and car park infrastructure, ensuring all elements of the design were captured with precision.
The resulting models were developed to LOD 300, providing a reliable, information-rich foundation to support downstream coordination, documentation, and construction workflows.

To support the design, construction and asset management of Hong Kong Airport’s new 30,000 m2 Annexe building, we delivered coordinated LOD 300 and LOD 350 BIM models incorporating architectural, structural, MEP (4), façade and civil disciplines.
Developed from 2D CAD information, the integrated Revit model was produced by a multidisciplinary team within a four-week programme, resolving clashes and construction challenges as the design progressed.
The coordinated BIM models were used by the main contractor during construction, while a millimetre-accurate point cloud survey informed a data-rich as-built model for digital walk-throughs and ongoing asset management. In parallel, we provided BIM training to AAHK teams in Hong Kong and Vietnam, helping build internal capability for the wider Three Runway System expansion programme.
